Youth in Revolt

This is movie number 18....it was recommended by a new "friend" we'll see how it goes. It looks like it might be funny, but I've been fooled by appearances before so who knows.

This is starting out very strange, but it made my sister leave so that's a bonus. She makes me crazy sometimes!!! Grrr...

ummmm......i am really not sure what to think of this movie. So far it's just really strange.

i was really hoping for something that would make me laugh, but I haven't laughed one time during this movie.

i cannot recommend this movie i really didn't like it. I watched the whole thing, but I am really not sure why.

So watch it if you want, but if not don't!!!

When in Rome

Ok so at the suggestion of a friend I decided to make tonight "movie night" and I am going to watch 2 movies the first is When in Rome. I have wanted to watch this one for a while now and have had trouble downloading it so I just picked it up at my local Family Video along with another one that you will be able to read about in my next blog post.

This is movie number 17 by the way for anyone who's keeping up. I don't think I'll meet my goal, but might as well keep going.

Brady says he was wrong and he gets it....huh...i guess they had broke up and now he's wanting to get back together o wait he's talking about someone else. How funny. Oooops!!!

Now her sister comes to tale her that she (the sister) is getting in married in Rome!!!! What a day....they have only known each other for 2 weeks and they are getting married wow!

So Beth gets to go to Rome for 48 hours. So beautiful!!!!!

What a wedding.....I have never seen such a fiasco in all my life!!!! Weddings are crazy. Beth can't break the vase so the best man comes in and saves the day.

Nick is now introduced he's freaking hott!!! He seems to think like beth too! The lights go out and when they come back on she's in his arms awww. Now they are dancing.

Now she sees him making out with another girl typical guys move...i'm not bitter or anything. Just seems like something I've caught most of the guys I've liked doing at one point or another.

Now she's in the "love" fountain pulling out coins, to "save" people from love.

Back in New York, and he calls, but she blows him off. His poker pals make fun of him.

Now she's running into some strange men that are all "in love" with her. It's because of those coins she took out of the fountain.

I am never going to take any coins out of any fountains ever!!

"every time I've ever put myself out there I've gotten hurt" this quote rings soooo true for me.

Awww tooo sweet. I'm not giving it away, but the ending totally rocks!!!!

You should watch this movie it has given me hope for love i think. maybe it can do u some good too.

Watch it or not the choice is yours!

Alvin and the chipmunks

movie 16

FX is playing Alvin and the chipmunks so we're watching it. I've seen it before, but I'm watching it again so I figured I can blog about it.

this is still a cute movie.... not the best ever, but cute.

Marmaduke

Movie 15

Marmaduke was my daughter's choice for our movie outing today. She absolutely loves dogs so it was a great choice for her, but I think she actually thought we were going to see Cats & Dogs Revenge of Kitty Galore.

We had a great time...except I should not have gotten the popcorn, but it just tastes so good. I always regret eating it after I do though. My stomach can not handle that kind of grease.

The movie was told from Marmaduke's perspective and was really good. The dogs and cats could talk and understand each other, but the people apparently couldn't understand them.

It was a really cute movie and actually kept my interest too, unlike some kids movies. So if you have a chance watch it.

She's Out of My League

movie 14

She's out of my League

This movie starts out with a long monologue making you think the guy is talking to a girl, but in actually he's giving a speech to his friend.

The dark haired "nerd" guy is kinda hott. Hmmm gonna have to look up who he is after the movie.

"she's setting you up with the bitchy friend, which will be perfect for you since you like bitches" great quote!

Totally loving the hockey game too. It adds a great touch to the movie.

"what's wrong with my neon?" "i dunno, except that the people who make that car don't even like it" this is pretty funny.

"why would she ask ME out?"

awwww.....he's so cute......it's adorable.

His friend is helping him manscape......ewwww....awkward. However he does have a nice ass.

This was another really good movie. I love it too!!! It would be a good date movie cause it has the funny stuff for guys and the sweet romantic chick stuff for girls. I of course watched it alone, and that was cool too. So go watch it or not whatever but if you choose not to you are really missing out!

Grown Ups

Movie 13
ok so i decided to watch and blog about movie 13 today and it is Grown Ups with Adam Sandler.

This starts out kind of sad with the "grown ups" old coach going to heaven. Chris Rock is in this movie too.
I'm already laughing and it's less than 10 minutes into the movie. Looking good so far.

Yeah the guy from King of Queens and Paul Blart is in this movie too. So exciting!!!

Basically a high school reunion at a funeral. Wow and they make it incredibly inappropriate. I mean comedy and opera sining at a funeral. Nice!!

Breast feeding a 4 year old....this move has it all. "he's gonna get a milk mustache on a real mustache, come on man"

"i wanna get chocolate wasted"
"mommy can i have some of her milk?" I am cracking up. Hehehe

"I thought we were gonna get wasted"

"that was a man's ass?"

I am loving this movie. It is hilarious!
Aderall Roulette- best thing yet...but should not be tried at home under any circumstance.

Some of the things these guys do remind me so much of the two guys I've been chatting with lately from high school. Such messes, but sooo funny!!!

I may have a new favorite movie!!!

Pee turning the water blue at the water park is funny. It would be really funny if they really had something that did that.

So yeah that's the best movie I have seen in a while I highly recommend it. Watch it with friends, family, or be cool like me and watch it by your self it's 100% funny and has a good story line too!!!

Toy Story 2

Movie 12

Well not a whole lot to say about this movie.

It was a good movie not better than one, but still good. I like Jessie the cowgirl doll. She's fun!!! And who doesn't love bulls eye.

(side note: I am working on a recreation of bulls eye right now on photoshop. I am getting better at graphic design, but some of my students are still better than me :( o well they are younger and have more time on their hands)

So back to the movie review. It's a continuation of the first movie and Pixar made it so it's good.

If you haven't see it go ahead and watch it when you have the time. It's really not a total waste of time. My 4 year old loves it of course.

Toy Story

Movie number 11. Like I said before these are not really in order anymore, but I'm trying to catch up.

I love this movie. I've seen it a million times, but recently started watching it again with my daughter. She's real big on watching movies at least 100 times or until she knows every word, but it doesn't bother me much when it's one of my favorites.

Pixar just amazes me. I think I love all of the Pixar movies. The characters are always so much fun and so love able.

This movie came out in like 1995 I think and I saw it back then, but starting to watch it again was still a great experience.

If you have never seen Toy Story you should check it out. It's a cute movie and great for kids and adults alike.

Some of my favorite quotes from the movie:
"You are a sad, strange little man, and you have my pity"
"Oh, great. If anyone attacks we can blink em' to death"

I just love this movie. Go watch it!!!

Toy Story 3

Well I need to do some catching up....These next few won't be quite in the order I watched them cause I got behind, but I'll give them a go and try to catch back up.

Movie number 10 blogged about is Toy Story 3 in 3D. I watched this movie at the theater opening day first 3D showing of the morning. My sweet 4 year old picked this one, but I was just as excited to get to see it.
I absolutely loved this movie. It was amazing to watch those same characters I loved years ago come back in this movie and the new characters were pretty good too.
After watching 1 and 2 about a million times with Maddi in the weeks before 3 came out I figured there would be no way it could be as good as they were, but I was wrong ... dead wrong. It was better than 2 for sure and came pretty close to 1.

Most of the time sequels kind of suck, but this one didn't.

I even teared up toward the end realizing that my the toys i had grown to love were ending their careers in a way.

I had to suck it up quick so that my daughter didn't see my tears, but it wasn't easy.
So I say if you have kids or not go see this movie it is completely worth every penny.
